RetroFresh: A Local, Sustainable Restaurant

The Concept: The design for this restaurant will have a 1950s theme. The 1950s was a time in America when fast food became commonplace. This restaurant design will redefine this part of America’s history by mixing in rustic qualities that remind one of being in a farm kitchen. In this way, a new freshness will be introduced with natural (reclaimed) wood materials, plants, and bright green tones. In addition, sustainability will permeate the space in the form of upcycled art, lighting fixtures, and wall partitions. In addition, local artists will be encouraged to display their works of art made from repurposed materials.
