The Concept: The design for the School of Art and Art History collision spaces at the University of Florida will have a warehouse loft and industrial feel with an emphasis on clean lines, worn features, wood, concrete, metal, and pops of color. The design will converge old, natural, and modern features and the ideas and minds of the artists. It will inspire through a seamless display of student work and a creative, lively space. The collision spaces will bring students mental focus through a restorative, fun environment and also bring focus to student work, socializing,and collaboration.
